Where are the Bimhuis and Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ?

These two venues are adjacent and there are multiple ways of reaching them.

From Central Station
You can easily reach them by train if you're coming from other cities in the Netherlands or abroad. From the northern exit of the Central Station, the venues' typical architecture can be seen at a distance of approximately one kilometer, eastwards on the IJ. It's a 10 minute walk from the back side of the station (Noord). Go to the right and walk along the water. Walk up the bridge and you will find the Bimhuis/Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ on you left hand side where you can take the passengers bridge to the entrance. In short: out of the station (Noord), to the right and up the bridge.

By Dekmantel Ferry
We have free ferries available, leaving from Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ/Bimhuis to Tolhuistuin/Shelter/EYE Filmmuseum. Drop on location is located at Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ.

By tram
Line 26 Centraal Station / IJburg also stops directly in front of the venues (the stop is called Muziekgebouw / Bimhuis and is the first stop coming from Central Station direction IJburg).
Please note that during the night, nightbusses will be your only means of public transportation. In the case of the Muziekgebouw/Bimhuis, there's NightBus 359 Centraal Station/IJburg (stop J. Schaeferbrug, direction Central Station) to get you back to Central Station (where practically all night busses go through).
